Organized in 1929 with the express purpose of honoring our American Revolutionary War ancestors, the Santa Margarita Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR and DAR), focus on remembering our past and preparing for the future through organized service in our community to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. These are also the main objectives of the National Society.
